In May, we launched Indigenous Cities’ Native Professionals Networking Night (NPNN). Over 30 existing and aspiring Native professionals spent an evening at Mason’s Restaurant Barre in downtown Minneapolis. Doctors, lawyers, small business owners, recent university graduates, and government & nonprofit employee were all in attendance.
During the event jay bad heart bull, NACDI President/CEO, shared his vision for the NPNN. Jay then invited Jennifer Kolden, NACDI Development Director, to share her journey from a small town in North Dakota to the Twin Cities, and from working in the business sector to transitioning into the nonprofit sector.
Mark your calendars for the next Native Professionals Networking Night on Tuesday, August 11th. This ongoing event is an opportunity for Native community members, professionals, and their friends to expand their networks and build stronger relationships. NPNN is a space for the community to share stories and opportunities. Each event includes a sponsor spotlight, featured speaker, and open networking time. Contact email@example.com for more information, or to sponsor an upcoming NPNN.
